질투에서 시작되는 비극
Tragedy starts from jealousy




궁중 사극에 보면 투기하는 여인들이 참 많이 나오죠.
제가 봐도 “저렇게 하면 왕이 싫어하겠구나” 하는 게 보입니다.
어떤 이유로 왕의 마음이 멀어지는데, 점점 더 마음이 멀어지는 행동을 합니다.
When you watch historical dramas about royal life,
you can see many jealous women.
I can even see that the “King will dislike her if she is jealous.”
The king’s mind moves further for some reason,
the woman acts worse to move his mind further more.




현명한 사람이라면 그렇게 하지 않습니다.
사랑이 어디 다른 데로 옮겨가면 왜 옮겨가는가를 봅니다.
이유가 분명히 있습니다.
틀림없이 그 사람은 어떤 사랑스러운 면을 가지고 있습니다.
Wise people won’t do that.
When love has moved to somewhere else,
the wise person will look why it is moving away.
There is certainly a reason for its existence.
Without a doubt, the other person possesses the lovely side.




그런 면이 내게는 없는가? 있습니다.
있는데 내가 발견해서 키우지 못했을 뿐입니다.
그걸 발견해서 스스로 사랑 받을 수 있는 조건을 갖추도록 하십시오.
Don’t I have such side? Yes, there is.
I just didn’t find it and grow from it even though there is.
Search for it and prepare the condition by yourself to be loved.




질투라는 것이 인류역사를 바꿨다 할 정도로 뿌리가 대단합니다.
셰익스피어의 4대 비극을 보면 질투로 인해서 모든 비극이 시작됐다는 것을 아실 겁니다.
So called jealousy has a great root about to change the history of mankind.
When you read Four major Tragedies of Shakespeare,
you will see that all tragedies begin with jealousy.




누가 남들로부터 사랑 받고 잘 하면 질투할 것이 아니라,
“나는 사랑 받을 것이 없는가”을 찾아내서 자기도 사랑 받도록 하십시오.
그것이 아름다운 모습입니다.
그 사람이 사랑 받는 이유가 틀림없이 있습니다.
그럼에도 불구하고 깎아 내리고 시기하는 건 아름답지 못한 모습입니다.
Don’t be jealous for someone who is loved by others and well distinguishes,
rather search for “Don’t I have any part to be loved?”
and make yourself to be loved.
That is the beautiful feature.
There must be a reason for that person to be loved.
Nevertheless, disgrace or jealousy of the person is not a beautiful feature.
